MISS EDMOND LIBERTYFEST SEEKS CONTESTANTS
The Miss Edmond LibertyFest scholarship pageant will be at 7:00 p.m. The pageant will sponsor both a Miss representative to Miss Oklahoma and a Teen representative to Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen. Both of the state competitions will be held in June of 2017.
Congratulations to Miss LibertyFest 2016 Ashten Vincent, Edmond, OK. She was first runner-up at the 2015 Miss Oklahoma Pageant, and she has been Miss Edmond LibertyFest Teen as well as Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen and first runner-up to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. Congratulations to 2016 Miss Teen LibertyFest Molly Little from Altus.

Candidates eligible to compete in the Miss Edmond LibertyFest competition must be at least 17 years of age and have completed their junior year of high school as of June 30, 2017 and can be no older than 24 years of age as of December 31, 2017. The contestants will compete in interview (25%), on-stage question (5%), talent (35%), physical fitness (15%) and evening wear (20%). The winner of the Miss competition will receive a cash scholarship to be used towards her education as well as a choice of a tuition waiver scholarship from the universities which have donated. Included in the prize package is a year¹s membership and training with Brian Attebery of Results Fitness and Nutrition.
The Teen competition is for young women between the ages of 13 (as of June 30, 2017) through 17 years as of July 31, 2017. The Teen’s will compete in interview (35%), talent (35%), evening wear/on-stage question (20%) and active wear (10%).
Little Sister Program
This is an opportunity for girls between the ages of 4 – 12 to be a part of the pageant. They will be featured in the evening gown competition.
