MISS EDMOND LIBERTYFEST SEEKS CONTESTANTS
The Miss Edmond LibertyFest scholarship pageant will be held on July 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Edmond North High School. The pageant will sponsor both a Miss representative to Miss Oklahoma and a Teen representative to Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen. Both of the state competitions will be held in June of 2010.

Individuals interested in participating in the pageant can receive information by e-mail at misslibertyfest@aol.com. This event is one of eleven events held during Edmond's week long LibertyFest celebration.

Miss Competition
Candidates eligible to compete in the Miss Edmond LibertyFest competition must be at least 17 years of age and have completed their junior year of high school as of July 10 and can be no older than 24 years of age as of December 31, 2010. The contestants will compete in interview (25%), on-stage question (5%), talent (35%), physical fitness (15%) and evening wear (20%). The winner of the Miss competition will receive a $2,000 cash scholarship to be used towards her education as well as a choice of a tuition waiver scholarship from the universities which have donated. Included in the prize package is a yearıs membership and training with Brian Attebery of Results Fitness and Nutrition.

Teen Competition
The Teen competition is for young women between the ages of 13 (as of July 10) through 17 years as of July 31, 2010. The Teen's will compete in interview (35%), talent (35%), evening wear (15%), active wear (10%) and on-stage question (5%).

Little Sister Program
This is an opportunity for girls between the ages of 4 - 12 to be a part of the pageant. They will be featured in the evening gown competition.

Scholarship Pageant Mission Statement
Offer young women the opportunity to participate in a "Miss" and "Teen" competition and provide a professional pageant experience.
