Edmond Parks and Recreation celebrates National Parks and Recreation month with art and lots of family fun. The NRPA activity focuses on creativity, fun and socialization with your local community.


Enter the Chalk Drawing Contest using a variety of chalk to express your artwork under the Festival Market Place pavilion, make and take a 4th of July Craft for the kids, get your Face Painted, Sing Your Favorite Song With Live Karaoke, Make a Big Splash at the Dunk Tank, Jump in the Moon Bounce and more!  Food and Drinks will be for sell to enjoy!

There are four categories for the Chalk It Up contest. Most Artistic, Most Colorful, Best Use of Space and Best Overall Chalker. Participants may draw as an individual, or as family and friends.  Registration for the contest is at 10:00am.  The contest is from 10:30 - 11:30.  Chalk Contest Spaces are limited!  Prizes will be awarded at 12:00 pm.
